This piece was written for Disquiet Junto Project 0262: Ice Code.

January feels like the longest month of the year, things freeze up and the winds serve only to extend the misery.

This piece began life with the recording of ice swirling within a glass. Five seconds of the recording was Paulstretched to almost three minutes, with compression applied, the pitch changed, and reverb added. Finally, silence was inserted in places and the volume was adjusted in places.

The electronics were then augmented with percussion, namely cymbals, snare drum, triangle, tubular bells and vibraphone, and harp.
