This piece was written in response to Naviarhaiku 209 – I am all ears

  I am all ears
  in wild rice fields
  the song of warblers

This is a haiku by Ryōkan Taigu.

It was written for Flute, Alto Flute, two Clarinets, and two Bassoons.
